01Go to Instagram → Settings → Accounts Centre (Meta) → Your Information and Permissions → Export your Information — set Date Range to All Time
02Tick only Followers and Following — either JSON or HTML format is fine
03Instagram emails you a zip within ~7 min — open it and find followers_1.html and following.html (or .json if you chose that)

Origin story
Started from a very unserious problem. A rapper/DJ friend had 4,000 followers but ~7,000 following and refused to clean it up — and every tool we found risked getting accounts flagged or banned.
After exporting the data, even existing solutions were clunky. So I thought, why not just build something?
What started as a joke is now something he's actually using. He managed to drop from ~7k to ~5k following in 3 days. Sometimes the most random problems turn into the most fun builds.
